 Jake has been training martial arts close to 20 years and is an IBJJF brown belt World Masters Champion. He started Judo in 1999 under Goki Uemura and is currently a 2nd degree black belt (Nidan). His BJJ career began in 2012 and he is currently a 1st Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Andrew McColl, Amir Yafawi, and Jorge Britto.  Jake has several years of experience teaching Judo, including kids and adults programs, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a certified NCCP level 2 coach. Fred is Orangeville Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's head judo coach. His extensive background in Judo is matched by very few in the world. He began training Judo in 1968 and has been consistently training ever since. He has held several prestigious titles such as, Vice President of Newfoundland/Labrador Judo, National Councilor for the Canadian Kodokan Black Belt Association Association, and more. His tournament accolades include several time Ontario Provincial Champion, and Olympic Wrestling Trials veteran. However, where Sansei Fred truly shines is in his ability to communicate as a coach and inspire young athletes through his wit, sense of humour, and knowledgable background.     

Shaun is a Judo Black Belt and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple belt. Over the past 10+ years, Shaun has dedicated his time to truly studying and understanding grappling and passing this knowledge onto others. He is an Ontario Open Gold medalist. He began his Judo training in 2007 under Jake Smith, and his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training in 2012 under Andrew McColl. His diverse and well rounded approach to grappling makes him an excellent coach able to help with the diverse needs of all students.
